Jayanta K Bhattacharjee (born 10 April 1952) is an Indian theoretical physicist and a visiting professor at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science. He was the director of Harish-Chandra Research Institute in Allahabad, India during 2012-2017.
Early life[edit]
Bhattacharjee was born in 1952. He got B.Sc. degree from University of Calcutta in 1972 and M.Sc. degree in 1975 from the same university. He completed his Ph.D. from University of Maryland working under Richard A. Ferrell.
