The Baldi Hot Springs is a spa located at the base of Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. The spa itself is located near the town of La Fortuna. The Baldi Hot Springs is a section of the Baldi Hot Springs Resort Hotel & Spa.
Overview[edit]
There are over 30 pools in the complex, each one containing water at different temperatures. The higher up the mountain, the hotter the water. The water ranges anywhere from 80°F (26.7°C) up to 120°F (48.9°C). The water is pumped up from underground, where it is heated by the volcano. The Baldi Hot Springs has a restaurant, two swim-up bars, spa services, changing facilities and tropical gardens.[1]
