Amanda Leon was born in Hollister, California. She is a junior, and currently enrolled into a private school. Known for her long, brown, waist length hair, lighter colored eyes, and her fairly tall height, many students have said she is to be the prettiest girl at the school.
Early life[edit]
Amanda Brandee Leon was born in Hollister, California to Steve and Nancy Leon. She is of Mexican decent on her fathers side, and Mexican, Spaniard, and French on her mothers. She`s lived her whole life in Hollister and has never lived any place else. Growing up, Amanda was always considered a tomboy, never wearing dresses, skirts, sandals, heels, or makeup, and has recently conciderd these options. She is the middle child having an older brother and younger sister. She was born with allergies and got asthma when she was only 4, with having a serious allergies to cats she is to stay distant from them, even though she has one herself. Leon has been at Calvary since kindergarten.
Music[edit]
Some of her favorite artist include, HIM, The 69 Eyes, Black Sabbath, Cradle of Filth, Ozzy Osbourne, and The Ramones. Leon went to her first concert on April 5, 2006 where she saw Fall Out Boy, The All American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights, From First to Last, and The Hush Sound. When she was her crush, Pete Wentz for the first time she said:
"It was the best thing that ever happened to me! I would of never thought I would get to see Pete Wentz!! or any of those bands in general! He`s so nice, and funny, and just himself..plus he was hot!"
She also really wants to she the band HIM in concert as well. HIM is her favorite band, and she aslo said that the band saved her life:
I`ve been going through a lot of very personal hard times with home, school, and frineds. There been times were I would just stay in my room and wouldn`t come out for two days. I just wanted to get away from all this mess and thinking it wasn`t worth living anymore, and I just couldn`t stand it! So I`ve been listening to a lot of HIM`s music cuz I know it`s not worth ending life, their music and lyrics are so powerful and poetic, just beautiful. It helps me keep calm, and from getting angry. They have saved my life!!
Personal life[edit]
Amanda is a vegetarian and has been one for over a year and a half. She`s currently been close to Ville Valo, the singer song writer of the Finnish band HIM. She`s been wanting to pursue modling carrer. Leon said it`s something she`s had passion for,but never thought she could do it.
