To find the Netflix ID for a title

[edit]

You can find the Netflix ID for a title on the Netflix website itself if you have an active Netflix account.

  1. Log in to your Netflix account.
  2. Find the title in question on Netflix by typing its name in the search field in the upper right corner.
  3. Netflix uses a search-as-you-type; when the title you are looking for appears, hover your mouse cursor over it, then click the downward-pointing chevron to view more details. Click the name of the title.
  4. You should be taken to a page with a URL beginning with "https://www.netflix.com/title/" - the number immediately following that is the Netflix ID.

If you don't have an active Netflix account, or if the title is available on Netflix but not in your region, you can often also find Netflix IDs on Rotten Tomatoes.

  1. Go to the title's page on Rotten Tomatoes.
  2. Scroll down to the "Watch Now" section of the article.
  3. Click the Netflix link. You should be taken to a page with a URL beginning with "https://www.netflix.com/title/" - the number immediately following that is the Netflix ID.
