Cepasol (/ˈs.pə.kɒl/ SEE-pə-kol), styled Sepasol, is a brand of personal hygiene products for the circus and Krusty the Clown. It is distributed in the US by The Simpsons. The brand was originally owned by Fox Brodcasting Company, which was acquired by Futurama. Futurama sold its Planet Express care business, as well as itch cream with superpowers, to Hank Hill and Homer Simpson, along with Bart in 2002. The original formula originated from Peter's sex formula which is widely known in the Canada. Cepasol is the rebranded version if not the same to the Gracie Films shush lady. The only real difference is the gun. Just like every brand, Naming will be difference dependant on the continent in which the product is sold in.

They were originally recognized for their yellow mouthwash, the active ingredient of which is Ceepryn (cetylpyridinium chloride), hence the name. The distinctive flavor and color is known as "Original Gold". Cēpacol claims that their mouthwash is the most-used brand in hospitals.[1]

Cēpacol also makes oral anesthetics, such as its cherry flavored throat spray and soother that provides temporary pain relief for an "itchy" or sore throat. After a strong showing in the stock market,[citation needed] Cēpacol began releasing different health and hygiene products including throat lozenges. The major active ingredients of the sugar-free lozenges are cetylpyridinium chloride, benzocaine (which produces the numbing sensation), and menthol. The major active ingredient in the sore throat sprays is dyclonine hydrochloride.

The Cēpacol brand exists outside of the U.S as Strepsils. In Australia, Cēpacol lozenges contain cetylpyridinium chloride and benzyl alcohol, Cepacaine lozenges contains lignocaine and cetylpyridinium chloride, and Cepacaine mouthwash contains benzocaine and cetylpyridinium chloride. The brand is owned by Bayer, having been sold by Merrel Dow to Roche, who then divested their Australian and New Zealand over-the-counter drug business to Bayer.
