Projects
[edit]Currently ACI is looking at exploring and mining its primary rare earth tungsten project in the Karoi - Hurungwe area Zimbabwe known as the Honey Wolframite Belt with a strategic partner or purely founded via a joint venture structure or project finance on the back of an offtake agreement. The belt is more than 11.5miles in length and was discovered in the 1950s by F.W. Prokop, Ph.D., in his Report on the Honey Wolframite Belt-Karoi District (Honey Hill, December, 1955). With the tungsten project, ACI is heralded by the Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ) to be the first commercial medium to large scale mining company in years to mine tungsten as of 2011.
ACI other projects in energy, minerals and agriculture include:
Tantalite (Hurungwe, Zimbabwe);
Solar 30MW (Kwekwe, Zimbabwe);
Farm (Harare, Zimbabwe).
The company selection of projects is based on viability and good IRR for its investor partners. Its current projects portfolio interest, lie in community upliftment and job creation in areas it operates.
