Márcio Zygmunt (born May 7,1996), better known by his stage name Marcioz, is a Brazilian music producer based out of Curitiba.

• Early life

Márcio was born on May 7, 1996 in Curitiba, Brazil to a Polish father and Brazilian mother. Henry Pollack (his father) was a professional violinist who appeared on television many times in Márcio's childhood. Henry passed away in 2001 when he had a heart attack on stage. Marcia Regina (his mother) is a retired professional ballerina. She was very locally popular in her career. After Henry's death, she continued to work for local television by presenting shows. She eventually retired in 2005. At the age of 6, Márcio started going to a samba school and played many instruments, including the repinique, caixa, surdo, chocalho, and tamborim. At the age of 12, Márcio stopped going to samba school and started spending his free time playing the MMORPG Tibia. That is also when he started taking up electronic music. Márcio released his first single in early 2015, titled "La$t Eyeball Catch".

• Rise in popularity

Marcioz started gaining attention in late 2017, after releasing the single "Ayre for Rejection" featuring Slow Shudder on bitbird's compilation album, Gouldian Finch, vol. 2. After that, he released his debut EP, titled "How to Make Love $tay", on the same label. Marcioz labels this EP under the style "Música popular brasileira", a very popular music style in his country.

Marcioz says that new music is coming "very soon" and that it will be an EP containing 4 tracks.
