Velo Club La Grange is a cycling club based in Santa Monica, California. It was founded in 1969 by Raymond Fouquet. ^[1] The club consists of three race teams (Men's team, Women's team, and Juniors team), the club is also open to any non-racer participants. La Grange is known for their weekly group rides which take place weekly, as well as a few sponsored yearly races such as Brentwood Grand Prix.

History[edit]

Raymond Fouquet founded the club in 1969 after immigrating to the United States and starting the La Grange restaurant. He and friends would ride up Nichols Canyon to stay fit. This tradition grew in popularity, until the club was formed. Now the Nichols Canyon group ride is a world famous weekly ride attended by many.
