Misleading caption

Either the label of this plot should be updated to say "Number of very active Wikipedia editors" or the data should be revised to use the ">5 edits" column from the cited source. Active editors only require 5 revisions per month while very active editors require 100 revisions per month per mw:Metric_definitions#Actors. --Darenwelsh (talk) 15:38, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

Doesn't match the source?

The historical numbers here don't seem to match the source at Wikistats. Has something changed, or am I misreading things? --Yair rand (talk) 01:50, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

@Yair rand: Well spotted. Looks like a change in the way active editor numbers were calculated perhaps? I reckon it's probably best to just replace it with the data on http://stats.wikimedia.org/EN/TablesWikipediaEN.htm. T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)^talk 04:54, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

Template CS1 URL error

Does anyone know how to fix the CS1 error "Check |url= value" in this template? The error seems to appear in the citations of every article which uses {{Wikipedia editor graph}}. I believe the issue is with the tiny URL "https://w.wiki/8Hj" which doesn't conform with WP's URL top-level and second-level domain checks. Its longer form URL also has issues. Thanks! @WildStar: hmm, seems to be an issue with {{Cite web}} not liking |url=https://w.wiki/8Hj. I can't see an obvious reason why it would be flagging it as a problem though. T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)^talk 02:40, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

Hello @Evolution and evolvability: The docs do mention that the wiki application is looking for a valid TLD or SLD. If so, clearly that tiny URL doesn't cut the mustard. I'm sure there's probably a fix for it though.  :) WildStar^talk 03:49, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

@WildStar: Ah, that makes sense. Sadly the full url has pipes in it, which is why the shorturl was used. The workaround might be to just use the full url and replace the special characters with their html codes. T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)^talk 04:51, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

@Evolution and evolvability: Not sure why {{Cite web}} is not working with the shortened wiki URLs. Per suggestion, I encoded the pipe characters in the full URL. All fixed.  :) WildStar^talk 15:08, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
