Not too beautiful template, says creator! Feel free to improve! (Or, if superfluous: remove it!) Rursus 19:21, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bickertonites[edit]

This has the "Rigdonite" and "Bickertonite" organizations as separate and both originating with the succession crisis. William Bickerton joined Rigdon's movement in 1845 in Pittsburgh, so he was not even in the picture in 1844 and was never in Nauvoo. The "Rigdonite" movement headed by Sidney Rigdon dissolved around 1845-46 and Bickerton organized a branch in 1851, so essentially the "Bickertonite" Church of Jesus Christ is a continuation of the "Rigdonite" Church of Christ. This graphic makes them appear to be separate and as forming at the same time and even co-existing for a period. --JonRidinger (talk) 05:10, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
