Does this render correctly on all devices? DTM (talk) 08:37, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It depends on what you mean by "correctly". The width doesn't fit on my laptop, let alone a mobile. But you knew that already. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 19:00, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Kautilya3, on a device that can show the min-width of 1150px, there should be no issue. On all other devices/screen resolutions, the scroll option should be available. On my laptop and mobile a scroll bar appears. When scrolling left/right the data/text of the timeline appears clearly and the text is largely in the correct/readable position. This is what I meant.
In short, is using the timeline in articles such as 2020–2021 China–India skirmishes and Sino-Indian border dispute serving its purpose? DTM (talk) 17:41, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You mean the scroll bar on the browser? Yes, I can use that and view the whole timeline.
As to whether serving the "purpose", I am not yet sure. Diagrams and figures can only aid the descriptions given in the text. They don't convey much on their own. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 18:22, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
