English names for cantons[edit]
With a few exceptions ("Geneva", "Grisons", "Lucerne", and possibly "Appenzell Outer Rhoden") there is no established name in English, and the local name is used: e.g. Aargau and Zug, not Argovia and Zoug. Never seen the latter in an English text. Ehrenkater (talk) 17:16, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
