Zigrasimecia[edit]

Zigrasimecia tonsora holotype

  • ... that the extinct ant Zigrasimecia tonsora (pictured) is named from the Latin words "tonsor" meaning barber and "oris" meaning mouth?
  • Reviewed: Boletinellus merulioides
  • Comment: nomination for review of Boletus carminiporus (part of Template:Did you know nominations/Boletinellus merulioides multi-nomination hook.) (yes this is a very old nomination, I have one other article from that nomination to use in qpq)

  • This article is new enough and long enough. QPQ done, no copyvios detected, image licensed and hook sourced. The article relies on a single source but then that seems reasonable seeing that the ant was first described in this 2013 article. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:34, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
