Toreby[edit]

Toreby Church

  • ... that the village name of Toreby (pictured) is derived from the man's name Thôri (Thor) and "by" meaning village?

  • New article, long enough, all paragraphs referenced to online sources (some in Danish), image is free. A minor point: the cited source for the hook suggests that 'by' in Danish means 'settlement' rather than 'village', but that's beyond my ken. Good to go! NinaGreen (talk) 18:15, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
