List of awards and nominations received by Deepika Padukone[edit]

5x expanded by Vensatry (talk). Self nom at 13:38, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

  • There are major issues with this article keeping it from satisfying the DYK criteria. One, the article has text spun off from multiple articles, this is stated in the edit summaries. [1] meaning the article would have to be 5x expanded, which it wasn't. Also, the article is over two years old, meaning the text that was already on the article would to have to be 5x expanded, which it wasn't. Also, the hook is does not match the article, the hook should be related to the article itself no the subject of the article since it is about the awards and nominations she received not herself. Furthermore, there are empty rows in the tables, what work was nominated? Why are they missing? — DivaKnockouts (talk) 05:34, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
  • The article's size prior to expansion was 242 chars. I copied text only for the one-liner description of awards from the Priyanka Chopra article. Barring the description of the awards and considering the lede alone, the prose size is around 1900 chars, which satisfies the min. criteria (1500 chars+x5 expansion). To prevent close paraphrasing from the main article (Deepika Padukone) I made a small c/e. Furthermore, there is no policy that hook should be related to the article itself, not the subject. If there is a policy, I'll definitely change it. The empty rows indicate that they were not particular to any film. Vensatry (Ping me) 04:32, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
  • I guess that sounds right. Thanks for clarifying. Now about the hook, I'm not sure if there is any rule, but I'm pretty sure the hook should be related to her awards and nominations not her cinematic debut, unless you include an award or nomination she received for it. — DivaKnockouts (talk) 04:41, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
  • To my knowledge there is no such rule. The hook must be present in the article and must be connected to it in someway. Vensatry (Ping me) 10:44, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
  • But isn't that irrelevant to the article since it was not nominated for an award? I'll pass, taking into account that you know your way around WP, I trust your judgement. — DivaKnockouts (talk) 15:36, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
