Jalmari Jaakkola[edit]

  • ... that historian Jalmari Jaakkola, who was criticized for overtly nationalist assertions and extensive speculation, chose the words "The seer of early Finnish history" for his memorial medal?

  • Comment: The hook is interesting in my opinion because the historian was criticized for extensive speculation (or "using his imagination"), yet he chose to call himself a "seer" which can have a negative connotation as well. As such, his choice of words was considered to be fitting by his critics alike.

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The main hook fact has an inline citation and the other parts of the hook are covered and referenced in the article. The article is neutral but the sources are in Finnish and I made no attempt to identify copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:40, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
  • I added several English-language sources to verify the information. Yoninah (talk) 23:06, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
