Fragmentarium[edit]

Medieval manuscript fragment
Medieval manuscript fragment
  • ... that Fragmentarium digital research laboratory hopes to reunite lost fragments of medieval manuscripts (pictured)? Source: "In the library, too, fragments are hidden in boxes..."90 percent of these fragments are lost worldwide", says Flüeler. To find these again or to unite, would not be possible without Big Data. In this way, researchers have the opportunity to research the writing style, the places of origin, mostly monasteries, and their written culture...You can now try to reassemble these parts over the Internet." • The article was created within 7 days of listing. It has not been featured in In The News. Article is long enough and is not a stub. Article is thoroughly and correctly referenced. The hook is referenced immediately afterwards with reference number 8. Reference 8 is in German, but the newspaper is a reliable one and the reference says what the wiki article says it says. Earwig shows no copyvios, and where there are similarities they are in institution names and so on. Hook is less than 200 characters and punchy. The image is free and on the page, and looks okay at 100 x 100 pixels.

All foreign language sources have been checked and are RS, and say what the article says they say. Red Fiona (talk) 21:24, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Nominator comment, just looking at the image on the nom, I think this image from the same page is a better illustration of the subject so could perhaps be substituted. Not quite sure how to format that into the template. Manuscript fragment reused as book binding Mramoeba (talk) 19:01, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
Sadly that's beyond my tech skills. Hopefully one of the admins knows how to do that. Red Fiona (talk) 19:05, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
