Comment: why don't you mention the Chain Bridge in the hook? Will probably review next. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:27, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Interesting life, on good sources, offline source accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. Please provide access dates to the online sources. How do you feel about an infobox? - The image is licensed and a good illustration. Please word a hook about 10 years of his life devoted to overseeing the construction. I can't do it, - or can't review ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:35, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Hi Gerda Arendt, thanks for your comments. I've added access dates to the online sources and changed the hook slightly,
ALT1: ... that Scottish engineer Adam Clark (pictured) spent ten years of his life building a bridge in Budapest, and has appeared on Hungarian currency? Source: [3], [4]
if you'd still like to review. Marvello123 (talk) 13:21, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
I personally don't think an infobox is necessary as everything relevant is in the first paragraph. But I'm flexible if you think an infobox would be better. Marvello123 (talk) 13:24, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Sure I like to keep reviewing, and thanks for what you did. I restored the former hook, for history's sake ;) - I disagree with saying "a bridge" when this is one of the few bridges in the world that people may know by name. If we didn't have his image, I'd suggest to use one of the bridge. So I'd say, just unpiping:
ALT2: ... that Scottish engineer Adam Clark (pictured) spent ten years of his life building the Chain Bridge in Budapest?
ALT3: ... that the Scottish engineer Adam Clark (pictured) has appeared on Hungarian currency after he spent ten years of his life building the Chain Bridge in Budapest? I'll make you an infobox, - the formatted dates alone are worth having it ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:44, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Okay, my preference would be ALT3 but reworded slightly... ALT4: ... that Scottish engineer Adam Clark (pictured) spent ten years of his life building the Chain Bridge in Budapest, and has appeared on Hungarian currency? Marvello123 (talk) 17:29, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
- sorry for the delay, I was sure I approved this but probably looked a few times and then forgot to actually hit "save". --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:34, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but IMO the ALT2 is far more hooky due to its brevity. Can we run with that? Yoninah (talk) 15:30, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
ALTs 2, 3 and 4 are formally approved, just pick one. The preference of the author is ALT4. ALT2 is by me, - if we need all this formality, it should perhaps be approved by someone else. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:17, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
