Weird "StudlyCaps" spelling of Chinese name[edit]

Page was redirected to "Wild Escape". I think it's the better name for the English name of Daguai Luzi. The other option is "The Joker's Way", which is a more literal translation of Daguai Luzi.

This title is also non-standard pinyin. "DaGuai LuZi" should be "Daguai Luzi". People don't write BeiJing or ShangHai. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pier440 (talkcontribs) 19:04, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

True, and fixed in the text, but the article shouldn't be at either of these titles, per MOS:CAPS, WP:NCCAPS, WP:COMMONNAME, and WP:USEENGLISH.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  13:15, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested move back to some version of the Chinese name[edit]

Hey there. The original article was at "DaGuai LuZi". My concern here is that the naming convention may not be ideal. At a minimum, it should be "Daguai Luzi" to be using standard Mandarin capitalization (for example, you don't see "BeiJing" or "ShangHai". The "DaGuai LuZi" page is being redirected here. I think there are some people who know the game as "Wild Escape" or I've heard "The Joker's Way". I just thought Wild Escape had a better ring to it.

If you want to be a purist, the game can be found in lots of Chinese game websites.

And so on.

Is the concern more about the English name, or the relevance? I believe it is played enough to be relevant. Pier440 (talk) 20:00, 31 March 2015 (UTC)Pier440[reply]

The Chinese has been corrected in the text. The article shouldn't be at any such title, per MOS:CAPS, WP:NCCAPS, WP:COMMONNAME, and WP:USEENGLISH.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  13:15, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
