I have added a merge template to each article. However, I think that the main topic is probably about the Russian bombardment of Vinnytsia's buildings with rockets and missiles carrying high explosives, so I am uncertain if either of these events warrants a separate article or can be merged into the article about the city, since that is the overarching article where this content might be placed. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 22:53, 15 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling of Volodymyr Zelenskyy[edit]

Serols, what do you mean by "note English spelling"? The Wikipedia article on that person is named "Volodymyr Zelenskyy" (rather than "Vladimir Zelenskyy") and the cited article refers to him as "Volodymyr Zelenskyy", because it's the proper romanization of his Ukrainian name. Multiple countries[edit]

Kleinpecan, I don't think that the sources provided in the article support the statement A Russian attack in July 2022 which appeared to purposefully target civilians, and which killed at least 26 civilians including 3 children, received widespread condemnation and has been labeled as a war crime by officials from multiple countries..

What is the source for "appearing to purposefully target civilians"? Btw this is WP:WEASEL wording which should be either replaced by "targeted civilians" if this is what RS say, attributed or removed.

What is the source for the July strike being labeled as "a war crime by officials from multiple countries"? The AP and BBC articles only say that the Ukrainian officials (Monastyrsky and Kuleba) described it as such. Alaexis_¿question? 19:50, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Re this edit, there are several sources that have reported on the deaths of senior Ukrainian officers in the attack

Support move to Vinnytsia missile strikes (2022–present) There has been content added for 2024, so its fine to say 2022-present. However, there only seems to be missile strikes discussed in this article, so we should be WP:PRECISE and say "missile strikes", not just "strikes". Oppose The article seems to be referring to a couple of particular rocket attacks that have happened, with no indication that the strikes are ongoing. The strikes are ongoing, the war is not finished, the 2023 and 2024 sources were added. The name "[City] strikes (2022–present)" was choosen at RM for similar articles: Dnipro strikes (2022–present), Ivano-Frankivsk strikes (2022–present), Kyiv strikes (2022–present), Mykolaiv strikes (2022–present), Rivne strikes (2022–present).
