The Chinese form of the page, 天后宫, contains a large list of Mazu temples that could be translated and added here. — $Llywelyn II$ 04:41, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hint: Many temples (especially those which articles were written years ago) are mistakenly referred to as "Buddhist" temples when they are dedicated to Guanyin or as "syncretic Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian" when they are dedicated to other deities. This is a common error made by people who don't know or don't understand Chinese religion. Guanyin has entered the Chinese pantheon and is therefore worshipped as a Chinese goddess in many folk temples dedicated to her (which are not Buddhist temples), while temples dedicated to a multiplicity of deities are temples of the "folk religion", not Buddhist, Taoist or Confucian temples.
