Mission statement[edit]

- "Bring integrity back," "computerized garbage," "new emergence of talent" is biased. If you were to read "The goal of the Anti-Auto-Tune Movement is to bring integrity back to the artist" on its own I think you'll see it is not an accurate description at all. To me it isn't exactly like an ad but it is selective in what it says. The mission statement should read the message 'the aim of the movement is to discourage the use of Auto-Tune (stating the obvious, but true),' followed by listing reasons such as the question of professionalism and genuineness. The non-use of Auto-Tune symbol on albums is worth mentioning, but I think the "supporters" also happen to be some of the ones who have this symbol on their albums, so the extra section is unnecessary.--Victor (talk) 11:48, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Merge attempt[edit]
I arrived at this article without having seen it before and noted the merge request template tag at the top. I made a best effort to merge the sourced material into the Auto-Tune article and also made attempts to find other sources and improve the sources already available. I could not find anything to support the contention of the article (or the perception given by the article) that "The Anti Auto-Tune Movement" is a formal movement with a particular logo placed onto record albums, or even that it has the article's title as an official name. The article's title seems more to be a simple shorthand used by one or two media article and is never capitalized as if it is the name of a movement. The material having been merged, I think this article is ready for deletion. Robert K S (talk) 17:21, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
