The article states he was placed in a sell with "other political prisoners", but there is nothing to suggest he was arrested for political activity, and all he did after was to complain about the (horrible, yes) conditions. I am also concerned if he meets WP:NBIO. He is famous only for WP:ONEEVENT, related to the footage he took and that was smuggled out. That seems like worth mentioning in an article(s) about the camp and penal system, but is not enough to merit him a stand-alone article IMHO.
