iPads[edit]

During the fall of the 2011-2012 school year, Lexington High School began issuing Apple iPads to students as a way to give students access to the most current information available through the Internet. The iPads were purchased as part of the voter-approved 2008 bond referendum. This referendum included $15 million to expand and upgrade existing technology in all schools within the district. [1]

Article rename[edit]

I just noticed this, but if you go to the page for just "Lexington High School", it loads a disambiguation page, and all the other Lexington High School's articles are just named "Lexington High School (state)". There are no other Lexington High School's in SC, so can we rename this article from "Lexington High School (Lexington, South Carolina)" to "Lexington High School (South Carolina)"? The extra Lexington is entirely redundant, both in the title itself (it's fair to assume Lexington High School (South Carolina) might be in Lexington, South Carolina) and for disambiguation (there are no other Lexington High Schools in SC, so there is no need to specify the town in the title), and it would make this page be uniform with the other Lexington High Schools of Wikipedia.Lpreams (talk) 21:54, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
