Father's Richness[edit]

His father Charles Henry King, was an very rich business man who worked for the law in Old Nebraska, but his father Lynch King wanted him to become more than that, but Charles could not go much and much further to be coming the richest man in the whole of 19th Century. --Dhartung | Talk 01:07, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The idiot who wrote this wiki doesn't understand basic gramar. Check the last sentence of the first paragraph. According to this sentence, King (the father) last saw Ford (the son) while King (the father) was still in high school. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.49.252.147 (talk) 20:20, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?[edit]

This article states: "King was born in Chadron, Nebraska, the son of businessman Charles Henry King and Martha Alicia (née Porter) King. His father founded several small trading towns in Nebraska and Wyoming along the railroad. He also became a banker and was very successful. In 1908, the family moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where his parents commissioned the construction of a large Victorian mansion. He became a wool trader, probably working with his father." Who does he refer to in this mess King or his father? Author is an idiot indeed! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.51.66.32 (talk) 20:25, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notability?[edit]

Could someone explain this person's notability? As far as I can tell his sole claim to any significance at all was being Gerald Ford's biological father. Beyond that he appears to have been something of a non-entity. Since notability is not inherited and we don't have articles about the parents of a number of US Presidents, I'm having a hard time justifying this one.
