Article title[edit]

Bessel's complete name was Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel. He always put the two given names together onto his publications, wihout any exception, he is known under this complete name. Friedrich Wilhelm is felt as a single name in Germany. It was often given to children in Prussia following the four Prussian king's named Friedrich Wilhelm. Of course, you should not mix up the Prussian kings Frederick William II, Frederick II and William II. You would not write Johann von Goethe or Wolfgang Mozart, but you write correctly Carl Friedrich Gauss wihout missing the Friedrich. Thus, it's important to add the Wilhelm to Bessel, of course with a redirect from Friedrich Bessel. --Dioskorides (talk) 19:06, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
