Verdict has been announced[edit]

Since this article is locked, someone other than me will have to update it with the final verdict which was just announced: defendant has been found guilty of murder in the first degree. In Iowa, that means life in prison without the chance for parole. The jury deliberated for over 7 hours. 198.70.2.200 (talk) 18:43, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sentencing will take place 9am Central Time, on July 15th, 2021. 198.70.2.200 (talk) 18:47, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Family's statement about politicization[edit]

What's with the Republican talking points added to the end of the article criticizing the family's statement about politicization? no facts, no citations, and no value. 68.38.20.93 (talk) 22:41, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
