Merge[edit]

There are a serious of minor break off articles from this article which were discussed for deletion. Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/The_Business_Review. There was no consensus to delete or keep. In cases like this the best option is a merge because then the information is kept in the appropriate place, and it builds the main article. A merge is not a deletion. The material remains. And a search for the material finds it directly if the redirect uses the right coding (#). There was some growing support for a merge. Notice being posted to allow for any opposition to a merge to be raised. SilkTork *** SilkyTalk 13:47, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm opposed to merge of Business First in particular due to reasons I stated in the Afd. The article is a stub today, but that's only because it's still new and hasn't been expanded yet. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 14:30, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You objected to the article being deleted. This is not a deletion. The article will remain. It will be in a situation where it will get more not less traffic. It is a move from an isolated location to a supported location. If/when it grows beyond a couple of paragraphs is the time for it to become a stand alone article. I've merged Memphis Business Journal as an example to show you how it works. SilkTork *** SilkyTalk 15:55, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I"m opposed to the merge of this article. It's already fairly long. It's where a number of pages have been merged and represents a logical grouping of these kinds of publications.--Rtphokie (talk) 12:41, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chicago Business Journal[edit]

The article Chicago Business Journal redirects here, but it is not listed in the table under Newspapers section. Does American City Business Journals own the Chicago Business Journal, or is it a faulty link? — 67.180.24.57 (talk) 20:22, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind. I found the answer here and added it to the list. — 67.180.24.57 (talk) 20:28, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reliability as a source for Wikipedia articles[edit]

See:

The consensus was these publications (except for clearly marked sponsored articles) are very reliable. --A. B. (talkcontribsglobal count) 04:34, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
