Odd writing?[edit]

Reading the game summary... It seems like it is written in a third person POV... Is it supposed to seem like that? To me it doesn't look encyclopedic, the way it is written... James-the-Charizard (talk) 20:07, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, James-the-Charizard. I have to say that I am slightly perplexed by your question. According to WP:SLANG, all articles should be written in the third-person point of view. If there is a different issue that needs to be addressed or if I misunderstood your question, don't be afraid to say so and I'll happily correct the error. Thanks, -EDG 543 (talk) 14:26, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Some of this article is written as if it’s like someone talking to us, usually these sports articles are written in the past tense. Some examples include: "Greg Zuerlein misses the extra point", "The Chiefs first drive of the quarter gets them a short field goal.", "Patrick Mahomes is sacked by Aaron Donald." I feel like all those and other parts should be in past tense (misses to missed, gets them to ended in, is to was, etc.) If I happen to be wrong in my judgement, just tell me where I went wrong. @EDG 543: (I had forgotten a ping) I got somewhat vague in my previous comment, by talking to us, I meant written from the POV of a commentator. James-the-Charizard (talk) 00:50, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@James-the-Charizard: Thank you for your clarification. I apologize for the mistake and will correct it shortly (hopefully today). Your patience is appreciated. Thanks, EDG 543 (talk) 12:35, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
