Motivations[edit]

Why is there no explanation of potential motivations? As a non-muslim from a non-muslim country it is impossible for me to understand the reasoning behind the attack. Is this one sect attacking another? Did the other sect do something to provoke? I'm not even clear which sects the attackers belong to and which the victims belong to, given that the article for Sufism says that the practice exists in both Sunni AND Shia sects... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.113.241.221 (talk) 13:55, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Death toll[edit]
