Year in topic[edit]

As per discussion at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Years the year in topic paragraph is scheduled to be deleted as it largely duplicates the links in the top box, and is not consistent with other year. Any objections should be made on that page please --BozMo|talk 19:33, 4 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I deleted the date of occupation of Shanghai as unsupported by any reference I could find, including Wikipedia's and Brittanica's articles. Shanghai was occupied in 1937, not 1933.Robert A.West (Talk) 23:24, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone fix this?![edit]

the same event - the foundation of the gestapo - is dated to 2 different dates -- one in april and one in june. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.230.72.33 (talk) 22:45, 12 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Wave image[edit]

That wave image is misleading. It's from the same day as the wave mentioned in the article, but it's obviously about 1.5 feet tall.

Gold standard[edit]

Two official 'end of the gold standard' dates are given (April, June). Checked the Gold Standard article, it was unhelpful. Twang (talk) 22:20, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dead link[edit]

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!

D. Vs. Delano[edit]

It kind of bothers me that it is varying between 'Franklin D. Roosevelt' and 'Franklin Delano Roosevelt.'

I was wondering if we could make it consistent?
