Nominate for POV check

[edit]

This article seems to have been written by a sympathetic author and assumes the reader accepts the doctrine of the author and the subject.

  • It says the subject "accepted the gospel", without defining what is meant by "the gospel".
  • It says the subject "received the gift of the Holy Spirit" as if it were universally accepted.
  • It uses inital upper case for the words "Elder" and "Deacon", as if they have specific meanings that are not defined within the article (as opposed to being generic terms).
  • It refers to the "One True God instead of Trinity" as if it were a universally-defined doctrine.
  • It refers to the practice of baptism using the words "their" and "our".
