Existence of articles[edit]

Info in articles must estimates according to Wiki rulers and practice. Info about Z.metro as large section in article about existed Z.transports no appropriable. Detailed info of history of question must be in separate article. And this article has many quoted sources. Like Wiki articles about thousands of other proposed projects and due to long consensus confirmed by many editors this article must exist. MetroDreams (talk) 05:51, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why exactly is it inappropriate to have it in its section in the transport article? It seems perfectly appropriate to me. It's a legitimate topic to talk about in the general article about Zagreb transport, but giving it a standalone article when there's literally nothing built in reality makes it seem as if Wikipedia is giving the topic undue weight. Wikipedia does have articles about such things, but only when they meet a threshold of standalone notability. I don't believe we've met this threshold here. A third opinion would be welcome. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 15:32, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of interesting articles can be dug up here, http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=429193 . Cheers. (LAz17 (talk) 20:41, 18 January 2010 (UTC)).[reply]

This article is very unnecessary, does not match the notability criteria. There are lot of plans (for almost 40 years), but there is no intention to build metro in Zagreb, probably in the next 20-30years --Ex13 (talk) 13:08, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Clearly there are plans to build it quite soon. (LAz17 (talk) 16:19, 19 January 2010 (UTC)).[reply]
The Belgrade Metro plans have been around for a longer time and it won't be built anytime soon. (LAz17 (talk) 17:10, 19 January 2010 (UTC)).[reply]

Well, i live in Zagreb, and as far as i know there is no plan to build Metro quite soon, probably never because it too expensive. There is plan to build suburban rail network.--Ex13 (talk) 19:31, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There already exists a suburban rail network. I live in Chicago. There are plans to build a new metro-stop this year. Most people in the city do not know about that either - nor do they care. I am not here to argue what is too expensive and what is not. The city needs a metro, and like most things, Eastern European cities are always in financial troubles when it comes to this. Zagreb is in the category with Belgrade, Donetsk and some others who have plans and can only dream about the completion of them. Stop wasting my time. This is still too much of a futurology, and I've merged the article content into the generic (and yet sufficiently specific) article Transport in Zagreb. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 19:20, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Maps[edit]

I think it would be helpful to get a map up. Here are two that I found...

...so perhaps someone can make a map based off of these?

This is probably the best one...
