Croatia the fifth country to produce low-floor trams?[edit]
What is the definition of a low-floor tram? Even if it means "100% low-floor", please count with me: 1. Germany (MAN, AEG, DUEWAG, Siemens, ADtranz, Bombardier Transportation -- if you count that as a German company, not Canadian...), 2. Austria (SGP), 3. Switzerland (ABB, SIG), 4. France (Alstom), 5. Italy (Socimi, Breda)... And if it includes _any_ low-floor tram, then the list is even longer (Czech Republic, Russia...).
In fact there is a difference! Croatia is the fifth country with the company/ technology on it's own! It is possible that there are some other low-floor trams in Russia, Czech Rep. etc... but they DO NOT HAVE COMPANYES ON THEIR OWN ( which arren't in possession of other multinational corporations!), also they doesn't possess their own technology developed! For your information, "Crotram" is the consortium of two companies predominantly owned by croatian stock holders ( multinational companies are almost entirely excluded!), unlike many of the companies you have mentioned esp. ABB, Bombardier, ADtrans, also possibly Alstom!
