Yuki Kashiwagi is notable

[edit]

I reverted Ohconfucius's completely unjustified deletion of this article, as Yuki Kashiwagi is one of the most popular members of AKB48, Japan's most popular female group of 2009, and is therefore very notable. I realise that the article isn't a very good one as it is and as such should be brought up to standard. This is what should have been done instead of going ahead and deleting it without asking other users or doing any research beforehand. Her notability should have been obvious enough from just Googling her name. I will translate some of the information from the Japanese Wikipedia and add it to this article sometime over the next few days. Davedim (talk) 20:56, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

He apparently also did this to most AKB48 member pages for some bizarre reason. How does deleting articles instead of improving them help Wikipedia at all? I guess I'll get around to fixing those too eventually. I'll revert the deletions, wikify, and add sources as I go. Davedim (talk) 21:12, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
