"strictly mediocre" ?

[edit]

The opening line of the article says the school is strictly mediocre. What is that supposed to mean? Sounds pretty objective, or at least unclear. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.24.170.190 (talk) 06:19, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"vibrant school.."?

[edit]

This article is highly biased, and is very unprofessional. It sounds much more like an advertisement for Woodroffe High School than factual stuff. It uses words like "vibrant staff" and "outstanding programs". but honestly, I live in Ottawa and Woodroffe isn't all that special and is consistently outdone by other top notch schools in Ottawa like Lisgar Collegiate Institute and Cantebury, and such, THEIR pages don't speak of fairy and flowers bullshit. The article was obviously written by some staff member of Woodroffe, or a proud student of the school. Some of the content is just not measurable and obviously inaccurate. I Want to file it for deletion. --Mrdonnelly (talk) 01:40, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bias and vandalism

[edit]

This page is lacking many details regarding the school, and is frequently edited by well meaning exageration and frequented by a persistent fight over the "sexiest man alive" quote. Perhaps the school and community can be encouraged to add (factual and unexaggerated) information about the school. Botcrusher (talk) 19:13, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

History section

[edit]

In the early 2000s there was talk from the OCDSB about Woodroffe becoming a western fine arts school as an analogue to Canterbury High School (Ottawa). Perhaps topics such as this could form a history section?
