Why the redirect?[edit]

I know there may be very little informtion about Windows 9 but why redirect to the Windows page when there's not a single reference to Windows 9 on that page? There's already some discussion about W9 81.159.157.10 (talk) 01:20, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not the same as Windows Blue[edit]

Recent sources reveal that Windows Blue is only an upgrade to Windows 8, but that Windows 9 is a newer version that will come out in the fall of 2014. Any thoughts about putting this into the article?? Georgia guy (talk) 18:28, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Redirection to Windows 8.1[edit]

Since Windows 9 (i.e. the predecessor to Windows 10) is implied to be Windows 8.1, shouldn't this redirect to the Windows 8.1 article instead? Aus0107 (talk) 01:48, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so, as I don't think anyone would mistake Windows 8.1 as being Windows 9. I think it should stay as is that it redirects to Windows 10 since someone might search on Wikipedia for Windows 9. --67.184.8.138 (talk) 21:04, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
