I feel that We All Have Hooks for Hands is notable enough for wikipedia in that the page meets all of the guidelines on the Notability(music) page.

they have been charted on national charts (#54 on the CMJ top 200). have released records, and are on a record label.

though i do believe that the page may be better suited as a stub. Sumbawa 08:31, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The ONLY thing they have going is the chart position. Find a source for that and the article will be fine. Check the notability guidelines again for the album and label though. It says Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels. I see only one album in the Discography. DarkSaber2k 08:58, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok here is a quote from the news page of Afternoon Records, Their Label:

CMJ News: - We All Have Hooks For Hands charted #62 on the CMJ Top 200 in their 5th week on the charts.

And earlier...

- We All Have Hooks For Hands charted #54 on the CMJ Top 200 in their 3rd week on the charts.

i suppose they have only have released one album on the label.

i put the stub template on there if that does anything.

The bands release is sold nation wide in numerous independent record stores, on Amazon.com, in the iTunes music store, and through retailers like Barnes & Noble Booksellers as well as Best Buy. ---here is where that information is present: http://www.afternoonrecords.com/distribution.html Sumbawa 08:31, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't know if this is enough to give the band notability, but this site lists the Top 200 songs for some given time, I didn't have time to look at it in depth, but "The Pretender" by We All Have Hooks For Hands is number 52. http://www.hypnote.com/images/Radio200.1008.pdf Useight 01:08, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • It's a third party source, so I guess it'll work. ZsinjTalk 12:04, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
