Name
[edit]Should this be Y Waun Mawn (or Gwaun Mawn) since the noun (“moorland”) without the definite article is gwaun? Ordinance Survey list it as Waun Mawn, for what it’s worth. ☸ Moilleadóir ☎ 05:47, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- Welsh place names that use Y at the start are few and far between. I think it's safer to stick to the name used by Ordnance Survey and by all the sources, including Parker Pearson? Martinevans123 (talk) 10:04, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
Bluestones
[edit]If the doleritic bluestones that made up the circle weren't "likely mined at the nearby Carn Menyn", where were they mined? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:40, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
