Sorry, I commented on the wrong sandbox before. Hopefully I can now correct it with some actual advice. I think if you decide to stick with the SSD that you might look into a non-technical description that could be added to the technical formula. Also maybe explain what precisely the Saturated Surface Dry could apply to. From a brief search it seems to be related largely to concrete as a temporary condition, so looking at that maybe you could find an example of when SSD would be used as opposed to when the other three moisture conditions are used.Abdoolhan (talk) 01:47, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

This is a good effort to expand coverage of aggregate moisture content, but I'm not sure that the Saturated-surface-dry article is the best place to describe three other moisture conditions that are not saturated-surface dry. Might these additions be a better fit in the Water content article? Also, you should be adding a second new citation, perhaps one to address a major shortcoming of the existing SSD article, which is that there's no citation for the term SSD itself. Finally, could you describe some applications of the SSD condition, e.g., to reduce drying shrinkage of mortar or concrete repair materials? Elizabeth Linden Rahway (talk) 01:31, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
