General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Everything checks out, an interesting choice of word (from the cited pub;and I have no issue with it), but they've also used the term lavish in there. But can toning it down a bit for the gullibility of a wider audience be considered? Like, rewriting it using one of the more known synonyms instead, such as "luxurious"? Let me know your opinion. PS: I've done some minor copy editing, but overall it's nicely written. And congrats on your 700th. X (talk) 06:06, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    • @Xoak: I'm not comfortable rewriting a quote to distance it from the source in this case. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 00:35, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Approved.

Local programming[edit]

Putting this note here. The original version of this article lacks much info about local programming, and that's because I figure it was deliberately undercovered by The Florida Times-Union. I struggled to find anything substantial. At the time, it was still competing with the Jacksonville Journal, which owned WJHP-TV (The Times-Union bought the Journal in 1959). I suspect the Journal would have much more detail on 36's programming, but alas, it's not digitized as of May 2024. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 19:56, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
