Needs a rewrite. Antenna never collapsed, nor was rebuilt. Possibly a new transmitter mast was installed on the top in 1975, but I doubt that too. A name change of the parent station from WGAN to WGME happened in about 1984. It was the world's tallest man-made structure until, (I believe), a taller structure was built in Russia or Soviet Union. --dowser 17:55, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
