These are quite common info. His parents info is not online, do you need me to dig them up on his 71 year birth certifaicte and place personal info like that online? Musch of this info is not online, bulk of Sri lanak publications don't go online. I know this person first hand. and to say "The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies". This man has contributed so much to Sri Lanka's entertainment. you may not know him, but to say this is a fucking insult! Seriously, get a life. If you have a personal connection to a topic or person, you are advised to refrain from editing those articles directly and to provide full disclosure of the connection if you comment about the article on talk pages or in other discussions. My apologies, I am quite new to Wiki. I have added better citations. However some items like his birth and his parents name are not online. It is refernced in his biography which was printed well before the existence of the internet. What do you suggest i do?

Further more, you can ask any Sri Lankan audiophile or Sri Lankan movie buff. Many in the Sri Lankan community would agree he is an important person and contributed alot to the Sri Lankan arts. As you can see from the pictures alone, he has won awards, met presidents, etc. Therefore please reconsider "notability guideline for biographies" maintenance note. Or please advise how i can help to fix this

I have read through the conflict of interest you should not create or edit articles about yourself, your family, friends, or foes. I'm neither of these. I have met him at lectures and talks, many years ago.

RE Maintenance note about "notability guideline for biographies". This individual has gone well beyond the minimum requirements WP. The person has received a well-known and significant award or honor, or has been nominated for such an award several times. The person has made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in his or her specific field. I will be removing this note from the listed issues. Thank you.(talk)
