Untitled[edit]

Removed the bit on the Tau having no psyker abilities. The idea was that it was the helmets controlling them, not the Tau themselves. But the idea's rubbish anyway and probably not true :/

Do stop with the childish vandalism people, thank you.

Now that the codex is out some more can be put down. Vespid is the name of the planet - the race are called Stingwings. With this and the data available in the book I've given the article a bit of a re-haul. Better, do you think?
All right, who was the person who removed the bit about communion helms and mind control? The codex clearly implies that on page 16. To quote directly -
'Uniquely at the time of their integration, the Vespids welcomed their place within the Tau empire. They bowed to the pre-eminence of the Tau completely and without debate. It has been whispered that this acceptance is linked to the fact that all of the race's leaders wear the interface helmets given to them by the Tau, but no explanation has proved forthcoming.'
Okay? Very clear. The mind control implication is going back in - you protest, take it up with Andy Hoare. Just because many Tau players don't like the idea that their white hat race is as benevolent as it seems doesn't mean Wiki can be censored. —This unsigned comment was added by 203.63.0.36 (talkcontribs) .
I removed it, because at the time, nobody had provided a verifiable source for that information. Now there is one, I have added the information back into the article. While I'm here, a request to please assume good faith, sign comments and use edit summaries. Cheers --Pak21 09:44, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That should be "...no evidence of this claim has proved forthcoming" not explanation. Archon Divinus 01:12, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Aaargh. I got very confused for no good reason and reverted your change. Apologies for that. I've now reverted it back again. I'm an idiot... Cheers --Pak21 15:28, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Forgiveness please, I can't remember where I read this (it may have been the official GW site), but didn't one of the developers state that there's no mind control involved? That the Vespid rulers simply agreed with Tau ideology and joined them willingly, while the veiled references to mind control were placed in the codex as a red herring?129.11.76.216 14:19, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stub Removal[edit]

I think this article has enough information to remove the stub sub-type. Theres a tactical apprasial, a description, a minor history, and a menion of their use in Dawn of War. What else is needed?Brinlong (talk) 20:27, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
