Problems

[edit]

This is an odd case. There appears to be an insertion of unwarrented information in the article, and it doesn't seem encyclopediac. I've made an few changes to the explanatory format, with the section below being the most glaring omission:

Perhaps the most common speculation about Unknown is the belief that she is a transmogrified, or possessed Jun Kazama. This is based on the fact that she looks somewhat similar to Jun (apart from her freaky yellow eyes) and the fact that she always uses Jun's mannerisms and moveset. Furthermore, when human players use Unknown, Jun's moveset are the first moveset they are given. In another interesting twist, fans at first believed that Asuka Kazama was infact Unknown in Tekken Tag- only years after the horrible incident. This assumption, however is very unlikely, since the events in Tekken Tag Tournament never happened and that anything relating to Asuka and Unknown (if any) are just completely coincidental.

Another interesting feature about Unknown is that she possesses the same tattoo of Jin Kazama, on her right arm. Jin gained this tattoo after being hit by the "devil" spirit (as seen in the opening movie of Tekken 3 for the PlayStation), so because Unknown has this tattoo it could be suggested that she is one of the Mishima bloodline (whom have the curse of the Devil Gene), suggesting that she is probably Kazuya and Jun's "never mentioned" long lost daughter, although this is highly unlikely.

Despite the fact that Unknown and Jun Kazama look something alike, there is also strong evidence to counter this statement, and that Unknown and Jun are infact two different people, in which are the following:

*Unknown has hazel/bright orange eyes, even after breaking free from her mind control spell the wolf demon has over her. Jun has brown eyes

  • While they both have neck-length hair, Unknown's hair seems to be a little longer than Jun's.
  • Unknown has a tattoo on her right arm that is very identical to Jin's tattoo, in which Jin received as a mark of his Devil gene. This could suggest that Unknown could be of the Mishima bloodline, although this doesn't seem to be likely. Jun on the other hand was highly physic and featured angelic powers, which would have protected her from any evil trying to overwhealm her.
  • Unknown and Jun both have fringes, on Unknown's fringe seems to mirror that of Jin Kazama.

Since the game's release, Namco has not, to this day, provided any clear explaination on Unknown, in terms of her history and whom she really is. Both Unknown and Jun Kazama have not been featured in any Tekken games since their disappearences (Unknown has been a part of only one Tekken game, whereas Jun has been in two). However, in her own right, Unknown is somewhat of a likeable character - basically stemming on her ability to change fighting styles during the fight, and of her physical appearance (which seems to be black like slime over her presumably naked body).

Despite her modest popularity, it is unclear whether Unknown will return in future Tekken games. This also applies to both her true history, and her true identity. -ZeroTalk 20:52, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

judging by how much Namco loves to tease about Jun possibly being alive and all these hints at a Kazama special spiritual power....I'd say we could get an answer about both these characters eventually. And then the whole saving Jin in her ending and such, having the same entrance as Jun (the look up to the sky thing) and all that....if Unknown is Jun...really, would it be that much of a surprise? Namco's little stats about the characters change every game and people who should be shorter than others are actually taller and stuff.

Fair use rationale for Image:UNKNOWNCGBIG.JPG

[edit]

Image:UNKNOWNCGBIG.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
