CPU Time

[edit]

"In general, if the CPU time taken is more it indicates that the solution that is being generated will be of good accuracy." -- Extremely dubious. Calculation speed is equally dependent on the skills of the software engineer as it is on the computational complexity of the problem, if not more so. As a simple illustration, qsort is faster than bubble sort is faster than bozo sort. They all sort data and achieve the same result, but no one in their right mind would suggest that bozo sort gives a better quality sort than qsort just because it is slow as hell. - 22:31, April 12, 2015‎ 98.172.66.86

Yes, the article looks like it was written pretty crudely, and could use a lot of work, including newer references. I cleaned it up a bit. Tom Ruen (talk) 04:48, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

vertex vs cell

[edit]

This page should probably also discuss dual discretisation meshes, e.g. cells and vertices.. Cesiumfrog (talk) 06:13, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
