Everyone keeps saying that Travis McCoy is single, but there is a video on YouTube of him with his wife. It doesn't look like a hoax. Divorced? Why does every time Travis is referenced on wikipedia Schleprok or a.k.a. schleprok comes up too? Is this even noteworthy? Does it need to appear on every article? Arrest
At the July 1st St. Louis Warped Tour, some guy in the crowd called him an "ignorant n"...McCoy was yelling at him and when security pulled the guy over the barrier to remove him, McCoy hit the guy with his mic a few times, they had to rope off an area to arrest McCoy. I don't have any sources yet, it's only just been reported on the local alternative radio channel. It'll probably be on some sites tomorrow. POKETNRJSH (talk) 03:18, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
I heard a first hand report that Travis made a comment that seemed to reinforce a certain racial stereotype and that is the reason the guy in the audience yelled what he did. If I can find specifics I will post them. On top of that, it should be noted that this guy had a fro and appeared to be of African American descent himself to some degree. It seems more like the audience member was upset at Travis's lack of understanding in the area of racial stereotypes and he was only serving to promote one. Hence, the "Ignorant" part of the statement. I think the way this is portrayed on Wikipedia is quite biased and it needs to be researched further rather than having all of the blame placed on the audience member.Bokonon82 (talk) 13:41, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
