Is ther any historical evidence for the use of "townhouse" as one word?PhilomenaO'M (talk) 14:39, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Inns of Court

[edit]

I've added a reference for "Gray's Inn", but "Lincoln's Inn" seems to be derived from an Earl of Lincoln, who was property owner in the area not actually living in an Inn. Alternatively, it was a Serjeant at Law by the name of Lincoln. Tagged {{CN}}.[1]
