Hughes was sworn into office on January 4, 2011, and is the first Metro president from outside of Portland. -Not sure how relevant the "outside of Portland" qualifier is, as Hughes is really only the second Metro president. Calickizzle (talk) 20:02, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If it wasn't relevant, then why did he and the media mention it? You and I may not care, or even think it is relevant, but we go by WP:NPOV, which is in essence, if the sources cover it it, then we do. The reliable sources get to do the editorializing, not us.
