Middle Name[edit]

Is Toby's middle name really Wyatt? I know it says so on Dunderpedia...but I can't find anything in any of the episodes or NBC sites...Just saying, wikipedia's no place for guessing... --NetflixSoup 13:42, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fix[edit]

Fix the infobox, please? AtmanDave (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 17:52, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Slept in his car[edit]

The fact that Toby spent one night in his car during his divorce, while not notable in and of itself, seems to be a go-to takedown when other characters (specifically Michael) want to undermine Toby (as in "Hot Girl"). Does that raise it to notable enough for inclusion? Slurms MacKenzie 16:12, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dunder Mifflin[edit]

I am going through several articles and changing instances of "Dunder-Mifflin" to "Dunder Mifflin" (no hyphen) as it is the proper "spelling" of the company name (see Talk page at Dunder Mifflin). Just leaving a note to say that I've gone through this page. :) Fieryrogue 20:34, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:PaulLieberstein.PNG[edit]

Image:PaulLieberstein.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

College?[edit]

At the beginning, it says he is a Pennsylvania Statue University grad, then further down it says he graduated from California Coastal College. Which is it? (although I suppose he could have graduated from both)...162.136.192.1 (talk) 23:02, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Too Much?[edit]

I think this article is a bit too much. Is it really appropriate to include all this detail for one fairly unimportant character in an American TV show? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.74.164.186 (talk) 07:10, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Although I would have agreed at one time the reality is this is one of the few things Wikipedia can do particularly well. Minor and supporting characters on American TV are fun to write about and it's not something the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, or maybe any respectable encyclopedia, would really do. Hence Troy McClure and Sideshow Bob are featured articles. British and Canadian TV also sometimes receive great attention as featured articles also include Mother and Child Reunion (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Pauline Fowler, Partners in Crime (Doctor Who), Bernard Quatermass, and others. Pauline Flower receives longer and better-referenced coverage than Eleanor of Aquitaine or Margaret Beckett. This is in keeping with what WP does best. (If the sarcasm is dripping off your boots right now I can lessen it by saying I'm actually being semi-serious)--T. Anthony (talk) 01:31, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Still I do wonder if we need quite so many episode and season descriptions. I think some of these issues might be better covered by the "Relationships" section. Or we could dump the Relationships section and focus on the seasons.--T. Anthony (talk) 11:35, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Anthony and the original poster. There is a huge amount of content here! IMHO, everything after the first few sections belongs on a fan site, not a encyclopedia. 75.72.171.202 (talk) 00:35, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
